Mayor Patrick Ramiaramanana is full of plans to embellish the capital.
Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar, will no longer be what she once was, if all the mayors? projects are put into action. The Nouvelles writes, ?as our mayor Patrick Ramiaramanana said on Friday during the inauguration ceremony for the Marais Masay, there remains a lot of work to be done to beautify our city. Other projects are now under study, this time with the participation of Madarail. In the first place, a total reorganization of the market on the Petite Vitesse will permit the merchants to better place themselves and will, above all else; facilitate the traffic that presently causes monster traffic jams in rush hour. To this project, there will be added an entertainment centre built into the Soarano Station that will become an exchange and communications center for the CUA and Madarail. This should be begun by September next and on the south side of the capital beside Namontana-Anosibe, we intend to create another site identical to this newly created one on the Marais Masay, so says our mayor Patrick Ramiaramanana.?
